Danville Backroads and Dinner Tour

The tour will start at 10:00 AM in Danville in the Mercantile Plaza at the Bagel Street Café located at 316 Sycamore Valley Rd W, 925/831-9318.  After coffee and breakfast snacks, we’ll take a short drive to Dublin on the back roads to Kassabian’s classic car show room at 6080 Dublin Blvd.  Leaving Kassabian’s at around 1:00 PM and heading up to Mt. Diablo which is about 3,850 feet above sea level.  The state park entrance fee is $6.00 per car if you are 62 or more years of age, and $5.00 if you are under 62. 

Once at the summit, the view is a sight to behold. There is a museum, a light house, and a store for water and ice cream.  You can tour the museum, hang out, take pictures, chat, walk, etc.  You may want to bring a folding chair, beverages and something to snack on.  We will leave Mt. Diablo around 3:00-3:30, and drive down the mountain to Faz restaurant, arriving at about 5:00 PM.  Hopefully, we’ll get tables outside and enjoy cocktails before dinner which you’ll select from the Faz menu.  Faz’s address is 600 Hartz Ave. in Danville CA 94526, phone 925-838-1320, www.fazrestaurant.com.
